Security Guard - Flex Building Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and excellent customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Time : Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as required, assisting with visitor management and / or deliveries.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist emergency personnel and first responders as needed during critical situations at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
