Online Special Education Teacher in AK

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher skilled in telehealth, providing remote support to students requiring special education services. This fully remote role offers flexibility while delivering essential educational assistance through a virtual platform.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and delivering individualized instruction using interactive learning materials
• Utilizing telehealth technology such as Zoom Pro to engage with students, families, and support teams
• Collaborating with clinical and technical support resources to address student needs effectively
• Maintaining detailed records of student progress and communicating updates with relevant stakeholders
• Adhering to all applicable special education guidelines and best practices within a telehealth setting

Desired qualifications:

• Experience teaching special education students, preferably in a remote or telehealth environment
