Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,759 per week in Columbia, SC

The shift is three 12-hour nights per week. The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1 : 5. Every other weekend coverage is required. The nurse may need to float within scope to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are accepted. BLS and ACLS certifications are required for this position. NIHSS certification is preferred. The nurse should have experience in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Starting and maintaining IVs is also an essential skill. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The average daily census for this unit is 18 patients. The unit operates with daily staffing, and the work environment will support a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Compliance with pre-start requirements is mandatory before reporting to work. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
