Overview We’re looking for a self-driven content creator to join our team and help us develop original, high-impact social media content. This person should be equal parts creator, producer, and executor—someone who is energized by coming up with ideas, making them happen, and getting them in front of audiences quickly.
This is not a traditional art director or copywriter role. It’s for someone who knows how to grab attention in the feed, understands social media formats, and is comfortable both behind the camera and leading their own projects from start to finish.
Base pay range $100,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities Concept, produce, and edit short-form social content optimized for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Translate social media hooks, trends, and formats into smart creative ideas tailored for our brand.
Own projects end-to-end : pitch ideas, shoot, edit, deliver.
Collaborate with senior content directors and support broader campaign efforts.
Use Chicago office resources (studio, equipment, office space, talent / loan officers) to bring ideas to life.
Work both independently and as part of a team on fast-moving projects.
Qualifications 2–5 years of content creation experience (agency, brand, freelance, or influencer background welcome).
Hands-on experience shooting with cameras and producing video.
Active on social platforms with a keen sense of current trends, hooks, and engagement tactics.
Comfortable being scrappy, resourceful, and decisive when projects require quick turnarounds.
Not shy about being on camera or working closely with talent to capture authentic content.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Nice to Have Strong editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or equivalent).
Motion graphics or animation skills.
Experience with paid social creative.
