Certified Physician Assistant

Rapid-Med Urgent Care Center is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team. We have a dynamic, friendly work environment where patient care is of the highest priority. As a PA, you will spend most of your time treating patients by providing a variety of urgent care services.

Location : Argyle, TX and / or Double Oak, TX

Hours : Shifts will be between 8 and 12 hours, depending on needs. Rapid-Med is open M-F 9 : 00 a.m. to 8 : 00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. and closed on New Year?s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Responsibilities : Clinically evaluate and treat children and adults for allergies and rashes, chest pain, headaches and migraines, on-site x-rays, skin infections and abscesses, bronchitis and pneumonia, fevers, influenza, sore throat and strep, acute abdominal pain, gastrointestinal infections with nausea and vomiting, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, eye injuries, lacerations, foreign body removal, sprains, strains, and fracture care. Primary Care, Preventative Care, Travel Medicine, and On Demand services offering Virtual Visits.

Requirements :

• Active Texas PA license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Ability and willingness to work two weekends a month
• Ability and willingness to work rotating holidays excluding New Year's Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
