Monday-Saturday 10 AM- 6 PM

$3 PIB

$15.49-$22 an hour

Responsibilities of Recreation Aide :

Facilitating daily, weekly and monthly events to encourage socialization and recreation for facility residents

Observing residents throughout the event and assisting with coloring, crafts, and other needs

Reporting medical concerns to supervisors if needed

Crafting, coloring, decorating, playing games, etc.

Qualifications for Recreation Aide :

Must be patient, passionate, eager to enhance the quality of the life of our residents.

Prior recreation / activities experience in a nursing home with dementia experience preferred.

An ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.

Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language with proficiency.

Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

High School Diploma or GED.
