About the Role

Join Amergis Educational Services as a Credentialed School RN (CRN) supporting students in Pomona. This daytime role is ideal for RNs who value a predictable schedule while making a direct impact on student health and learning.

Responsibilities include :

Triage and care for acute illnesses / injuries

Chronic condition management (asthma, diabetes, seizure care)

Medication administration

IHP / 504 support and staff training

Immunization review and health screenings

Health education for students and staff

Key Responsibilities

Provide first aid and emergency response per protocol

Administer medications / treatments and maintain accurate documentation

Develop and implement Individualized Health Plans (IHPs)

Monitor and support students with chronic conditions

Communicate with parents / guardians and collaborate with school staff

Maintain student health records in compliance with district / state regulations

Required Qualifications

Current, active California RN license

Credentialed School Nurse (CRN / CSN) - required

CPR / BLS certification (current)

TB clearance and background / fingerprint clearance

Reliable transportation

Preferred (not required)

Prior school nursing or pediatric nursing experience

Experience developing IHPs and supporting students with special healthcare needs
