Job Summary
We are searching for an experienced Dog Groomer/Front Pperson to join the team at The Pet Wash.
As a Dog Groomer, you will bathe and clip dogs according to breed-specific standards, comfort cuts, and owner preferences. You will also trim nails, clean ears, detangle hair and generally ensure that pets look and feel their best.
As a Front Person you will greet people, discuss whatever service they are getting and check dogs in. You will schedule appointments, answer phones and keep all supplies stocked and ready for Self-Serve customers as well as Full-Serve customers.

Responsibilities
- Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
- Bathe dogs and dry coat
- Execute a variety of clipping techniques and style requests
- Examine for parasites or other skin conditions
- Trim nails
- Ensure the safety of dogs at all times
- Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners
- Keep towels stocked
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dog groomer/Front Person
- Comfortable working with anxious animals
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs
- Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education
- Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog owners
- Strong attention to detail
