We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service &Data Entry Tax Support Specialist to join our team. This position supports both front-office client services and back-office tax data operations. You will play a key role in managing client communications, supporting document submissions, processing invoices and payments, and accurately entering tax information into our systems. - We are seeking a motivated Customer Service/ Data Entry Specialist
- Location: San Dimas, CA |Pay rate: $25/hr| Schedule: 4pm–12am
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by answering phones, responding to emails, greeting clients, and supporting general front-office communication.
- Guide clients through uploading documents in TaxDome and follow up on missing information or outstanding items.
- Accurately enter and verify client tax data and support documents using UltraTax software.
- Upload, organize, and track client files in TaxDome while maintaining accuracy and data security.
- Schedule, manage, and adjust client appointments using DaySmart scheduling software.
- Prepare and send invoices, process payments, and upload receipts, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping.
- Identify and flag missing, inconsistent, or incomplete client information and communicate updates to the team.
- Support general administrative tasks and assist with workflow coordination to ensure smooth daily and tax-season operations.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with email communication and online platforms.
- Experience with TaxDome, UltraTax, and/or DaySmart is highly desirable (training provided).
- Basic understanding of invoicing and payment processing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of common tax forms (W-2, 1099, Schedule C).
- Previous experience in customer service, tax data entry, or administrative support preferred.
- Comfort with cloud-based systems and digital document management is a plus.
