Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Sterile Processing Technician, where you will gain valuable experience in scope processing using Medivator AER and Olympus OER. This role requires precision and attention to detail in the reprocessing and assembly of specialized instruments and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform sterile processing duties according to the lead technicians' guidelines.
- Reprocess and assemble specialized instruments and equipment, including washing and preparing them for sterilization.
- Operate specialized washers and sterilizers in compliance with designated procedures.
- Maintain instruments to ensure high performance during surgical procedures.
- Inspect, test, and lubricate specialized instruments and equipment according to cleaning and preparation instructions.
- Document required information and maintain necessary records.
- Set up case carts for surgical procedures and ensure correct inventory.
- Restock equipment and supplies as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment used for job functions and report hazardous conditions or malfunctions.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, training, and meetings.
- Assist with the orientation and training of other personnel.
Essential Skills
Experience in sterile processing and sterilization.Proficient in scope processing and decontamination.Strong aseptic technique.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Decontamination experience is a must.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.CRCST certification - Central Service Technician Certification.5 years of experience in neuro, ortho, and robotics preferred.Ability to work rotating weekends.AHA BLS certification.Work Environment
This position covers a vacation leave and involves working Monday to Friday, 5 PM to 1 : 30 AM, with rotating weekends. You will work with a team of 15 people, interacting with both shifts. The role is initially for two weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Bernardino, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
