Prime Heating & Cooling in Cranston, RI is actively seeking a full-time Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our service and repair team. As a Senior Service Technician, you will be responsible for processing and completing work orders, performing service on HVAC systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance. You may also be required to advise on equipment upgrades and available service contracts. As our Senior Technician you will lead, guide & help train some of our other technicians. Bring the many years of HVAC experience you have and help others be the best they can be.

To ensure success as a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you should have advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, good mechanical skills, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Ultimately, a top-class service technician expertly repairs and maintains cooling and heating equipment for a client with the least amount of downtime.

Our Service Technicians work a full-time, Monday-to-Friday schedule with overtime, on-call, and weekends only when necessary . This Senior Service Technician position comes with a competitive wage of $40-$42 / hour , depending on experience. We provide excellent benefits , including health, dental, vision, disability, a 401(k) plan with company match, and 2 weeks of paid time off (PTO) . SENIOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Processing and completing work orders.
• Provide customer service to clients and explain their equipment needs.
• Ordering equipment supplies, repair modules, and sundries for the order.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Observing and testing HVAC systems.
• Troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Maintaining stock levels.
• Replacing coils, compressors, and worn-out motors.
• Informing clients of repair costs and alternate cooling options.
• Oversee work completed by technicians.
• Provide guidance and training when necessary.
