Job Title: Assembler

Work Location: Whittier, CA (90601)

Duration: 8+ Months contract

Shift: 5AM-1:30PM Monday Friday

Pay range: $20-$21XX

Job Description:

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
• Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Must have to pass a physical for this role (Due to Nature of the Job):

• They need to be able to lift 60 lbs from floor to knuckles levels on an occasional basis.
• Lift at least 60 pounds from floor to waist level on occasional basis.
• Lift at least 50 pounds from floor to shoulder level on occasional basis.
• Lift at least 30 pounds from floor to crown level on an occasional basis.
