  • 28-bed Emergency Department with approximately 35,000 annual admissions.
  • Mixed patient population, primarily adults, focusing on cardiac and neurological cases, including stroke patients.

• Support Staff & Resources

• Shift Details

  • Weekdays: Shifts are 7 AM to 6 PM, 11 AM to 10 PM, and 8 PM to 7 AM.
  • Weekends: 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM.
  • APP coverage is provided from 9 AM to 9 PM and 1 PM to 1 AM, seven days a week.
  • No call is required for this position.

• Procedures & Cases

  • The physician will handle core emergency medicine procedures, including moderate sedation.
  • Common cases include cardiac emergencies, neurological cases, orthopedic injuries, and other high-acuity conditions.
  • Physicians will sign out or admit patients for follow-up care as needed.
