Financial Analyst (Fully Remote)

BH Properties is a privately held commercial real estate investment firm focused on value-add acquisitions in office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties throughout the Western United States, along with investments in distressed debt and ground leases. The Company is vertically integrated, with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Riverside, Phoenix, Dallas, and Houston, and is able to acquire and close transactions without the need for lengthy due diligence periods. Our 30-year track record and balance sheet allow us to move quickly and creatively, structuring acquisitions to satisfy sellers' needs in a highly competitive market. Today, the Company owns and operates approximately 10M square feet across 18 states.

Position

The Financial Analyst will support the acquisition and finance teams and perform tasks such as financial analysis and modeling, market research and analysis, and organizing and maintaining the acquisition pipeline. The role requires effective communication, both internally and externally. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable working in a collegial, team environment with minimal day-to-day oversight. The Financial Analyst will report to the Managing Director, Acquisitions.

Location

The Financial Analyst will join our team remotely from the Philippines and will work during US Pacific Standard Times zone business hours.

Responsibilities

Including, but are not limited to :

• Perform financial analysis and real estate underwriting on potential investment opportunities.
• Assist in reviewing offering memoranda and other seller-provided materials such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
• Conduct efficient and relevant market research and analysis that will be included in presentations to support real estate investment decisions.
• Prepare high caliber slide decks.
• Perform market-level due diligence, including sale comps, lease comps, and investment trends.
• Organize and maintain acquisitions pipeline.
• Perform administrative support to the Acquisitions and Finance teams.
