Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Tech to join our team. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and maintaining patient safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Provide exceptional patient care, including addressing patient concerns and providing emotional support
Qualifications
Education
Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or related fieldCompletion of a radiology technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)Experience
1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech in a hospital or imaging center settingExperience with various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasoundSkills
Strong understanding of radiology technology and imaging principlesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsCommitment to delivering exceptional patient care and safetyCertifications / Licenses
