Engineering Technician - ORD

STV is seeking an OpenRoads Designer Specialist for our Water Group to provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship in Water-Wastewater design for our offices in Oklahoma and Texas. The ideal candidate will have the technical acumen and managerial skills to facilitate smooth design, coordination, and construction workflows while optimizing project quality and productivity.

Responsibilities include :

• Lead / Participate in multi-disciplinary design coordination meetings and facilitate resolution of complex design and coordination issues for project delivery teams.
• Evaluate project deliverables for compliance with BIM execution plans / CAD Protocols, standards, and client requirements.
• Interface directly with clients and STV engineers to define CAD deliverables, ensuring projects are executed as per agreed-upon CAD protocols.
• Train and mentor project teams in ORD best practices through both informal and formal learning sessions.
• Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs with occasional assistance.
• Review cad and models for design coordination issues.
• Remain abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending tools and methodologies to further advance our CAD / BIM capabilities.
