Vascular Sonographer - Charlotte, NC

A skilled Ultrasound Technologist with vascular imaging expertise is needed for a contract position in Charlotte, NC. This role involves performing general ultrasound, vascular, gynecological, and procedural studies within an 18-bed free-standing emergency department and outpatient imaging setting. The department averages 108 emergency visits daily and conducts approximately 18 ultrasound studies each day, requiring a minimum of 2 years ultrasound experience. Location
Charlotte is a vibrant city known for its dynamic economy and rich cultural attractions. The role is based in a facility offering state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services, including 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and ultrasound. The facility is well-equipped with Siemens Sequoia and Toshiba Yario 200 ultrasound machines, supported by EPIC electronic medical records and Philips iSite PACS systems. Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound exams with an emphasis on vascular, gynecological, and procedural imaging
• Collaborate with emergency and outpatient care teams to provide timely diagnostic support
• Maintain accurate records using EPIC and related imaging software
• Participate in a rotating schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
• Float between two locations within the healthcare system as assigned

Qualifications/Experience

• Certification through ARDMS or ARRT(S) required
• BLS certification mandatory
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience, including vascular and procedural studies
• Proficiency with EPIC, Epic Radiant, and Philips iSite highly preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Schedule/Hours

• Monday: 6:00am3:00pm
• Friday: 2:00pm11:00pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am7:00pm
• Includes rotating weekend and holiday shifts
