A mid-sized manufacturing company located in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to its executive leadership team. This temp-to-hire role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior decision-makers in a stable, privately owned organization known for its longevity and commitment to quality. The Executive Administrative Assistant will manage calendars, coordinate travel, organize meetings, and handle confidential correspondence while ensuring the day-to-day operations of the executive office run efficiently.
This position is ideal for someone who is polished, detail-oriented, and highly organized. The right candidate will be comfortable working fully on-site in a traditional office environment, demonstrate strong business judgment, and take pride in anticipating needs and maintaining professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the President and Vice President, including scheduling and calendar management
- Coordinate both domestic and international travel, creating detailed itineraries and ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly
- Review, prioritize, and organize incoming correspondence and emails
- Prepare and edit professional documents, reports, and communications
- Organize and support meetings, ensuring materials, logistics, and follow-up actions are completed accurately
- Assist with ongoing projects such as facilities coordination, document organization, and company communications
- Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and internal departments
- Maintain office organization, filing systems, and supplies for the executive team

3–5 years of experience supporting senior executives in a corporate or professional services environmentExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication abilities with polished business writing skillsHigh degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentialityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience coordinating travel and managing executive calendars preferredBachelor’s degree preferred; experience in a privately held or family-run company a plus
