Position : Project Engineer Geotechnical

Location : Murrieta California (On-site)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering

Licensure

  • Active California Professional Engineer (PE) license REQUIRED
  • Candidate must be on track for Geotechnical Engineer (GE) licensure

    • Experience

  • 5 years of geotechnical engineering and project management experience
  • Proven experience managing projects from proposal through construction
  • Strong client-facing and reporting background

    • Core Technical Expertise

    Candidates must have experience in :

  • Shallow & deep foundation design (vertical and lateral capacity)
  • Settlement and liquefaction analysis
  • Slope stability analysis
  • Retaining wall and grading recommendations
  • Construction geotechnical services and site inspections
  • Preparation and review of geotechnical reports addenda and proposals

    • Knowledge of ground motion evaluation is a strong plus.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage geotechnical projects across private and public sectors
  • Delegate work to engineering and field teams
  • Review and approve geotechnical reports and proposals
  • Provide engineering recommendations for development and infrastructure projects
  • Oversee construction-phase geotechnical services
  • Support business development and client relationships
