Summary:

The Restaurant Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and organized first impression for all guests. This role manages guest flow seating reservations and communication with the service team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The position requires excellent communication skills professionalism and a warm guest-focused demeanor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival creating a positive first impression
Manage reservations wait lists and seating arrangements in accordance with restaurant standards
Escort guests to tables and present menus as needed
Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding table status guest needs and service flow
Monitor dining room activity to ensure balanced seating and optimal guest experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
Assist with answering phones taking reservations and responding to guest inquiries
Provide accurate information regarding menu items specials and hotel facilities when appropriate
Support servers and bussers during peak periods as needed
Maintain a professional and positive attitude toward guests and associates at all times
Follow all company policies procedures and service standards
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to lift pull and push moderate weight
Additional tasks may be assigned at any given time

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests and coworkers professionally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High school education or related experience
• Must obtain and maintain any required certifications

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets education work experience certifications etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as addition to your annual salary we offer a comprehensive benefits package (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
