Job Title: Permanent Registered Nurse (Dialysis)

Rate: $27 $45 per hour + Full Benefits
Shift Info: 5:00 AM 1:30 PM | 3 4 days per week
Weekend Requirements: Possible weekends

As a Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for patients with chronic kidney disease. You'll manage a caseload of patients while working alongside patient care technicians to monitor vital signs, manage dialysis treatments, and provide patient-centered care. This role focuses on building meaningful relationships with patients and their families to provide compassionate, consistent, and high-quality care.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise dialysis treatments and patient care activities with the support of patient care technicians.
Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
Set up and operate dialysis machines, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.
Educate patients and families about treatment options, dialysis procedures, and ongoing care plans.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
May be required to work some weekends or be available for on-call rotation as needed.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
(A BSN or diploma from an accredited RN program is also acceptable)
Active, unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse License
Current BLS/CPR certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience in dialysis, ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg nursing
