  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n
  • Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU)\n
  • Start Date : December 19, 2025\n
  • End Date : March 20, 2026\n
  • Duration : 13-week nursing contract\n
  • Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM (12-hour day shifts)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs required\n
  • EMR : Epic EMR experience required\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (Registered Nurse)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Stepdown, or similar high-acuity clinical setting\n
  • Current ACLS certification\n
  • Advanced competency in hemodynamics, including pressor titration protocols\n
  • Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedative and Narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, and infection prevention protocols\n
  • Proficiency with HFNC, BiPap / CPAP, and oxypendent\n
  • Epic EMR proficiency required\n
  • Competency test required within 24 hours of submission\n
  • Navy blue scrubs required\n

    • \n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, trauma, and surgical complications\n
  • Manage a patient load of 3 high-acuity patients in the Progressive Care Unit\n
  • Administer and titrate critical medications and intravenous drips according to clinical protocols\n
  • Monitor, interpret, and document advanced hemodynamic data\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes\n
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention protocols and hospital policies\n
  • Accurately document all patient care in the Epic EMR system\n
