Experience designing applications in hybrid environments, including on-premises systems, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and CI / CD using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines. Proven skills in taking business requirements and formulating those into application solutions. Senior Software Engineer (Java)
IDR is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity remotely. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based micro-services supporting data-centric clinical and analytic applications in a dynamic technology environment. The organization is immersed in the healthcare and bioinformatics sectors, utilizing advanced software frameworks and cloud computing.
Position Overview for the Senior Software Engineer :
- Design and build back-end services supporting data-centric clinical and analytic applications.
- Develop applications leveraging cloud computing, big data, machine learning, and data science frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to ensure resilience, uptime, and scalability.
- Work on custom Java applications using Java 17+ with Spring Boot and Angular 17+.
- Apply best practices in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, and testing.
