Overview
Brandes Associates Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Senior Software Engineer for a Department of Defense (DoD) program at Camarillo/Point Mugu CA. Position requires a qualified .NET Developer to support current and evolving Naval Air Mission Planning.
Salary
The typical annual salary range for this position is $120,000.00 USD to $150,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Work with project lead and project owner to implement new features, capabilities and functionality in a fast-paced agile environment
Qualifications
Between 3 and 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description.
- 3 years’ experience with Web Development and SPA Single page application
- 3 years’ experience with C# development/programming skills
- 3 years’ experience with .NET Framework, VB.NET, ASP.NET Site, web technologies
- 3 years’ experience with Visual Studio IDE, HTML5/CSS3, and Azure DevOps
- 3 years’ experience with Java, JavaFX and Javascript
- 2 years’ experience with Scaled Agile Development
- 2 years’ experience with Git
- Experience with Angular JS, or other scripting languages
- Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC), and Windows desktop applications
- Knowledge of WPF and MVVM techniques
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening

Education:
BS or BA degree in a Computer Science field or a relevant technical discipline
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant Associate’s Degree
Clearance:
- Condition of employment - must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Citizenship:
