Location: Remote within the U.S.; Federal Way, WA or Washington, DC considered for hybrid
Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (8 years) of work experience. In addition to education or education equivalent, requires at least 5 years in one or more of the following areas: outside sales in target industries, business-to-business relationship management/sales, or leadership responsibility over business operations. Must have an understanding of and/or experience with business engagement techniques and demonstrated ability to manage and develop major account relationships.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
Travel: Frequent domestic and some international travel required (20–30%). Possible weekend and evening work to accommodate donor schedules, if necessary.
Estimated Salary Range: $87,700 to $124,560
The Job
The World Vision Corporate Engagement Director will facilitate growth in World Vision’s ministry by planning and implementing a donor engagement, development, and management strategy. This role focuses on activating and cultivating long-term relationships with corporate executives, corporations, and foundations to secure ministry-aligned gifts-in-kind (GIK), cash, and gratis service resources. These include ministry-aligned consumer products, cost-offsetting services (Freight in Kind), and cash.
This senior-level, strategic role will typically identify and develop relationships with domestic and multinational, multi-billion-dollar retail and manufacturing companies operating in the consumer products space. These prospects are often multinational corporations and/or ministry-aligned corporate foundations.
This innovative and inspirational leader will engage corporations and foundations through custom, collaborative philanthropic solutions aligned with WVUS campaigns, producing meaningful outcomes for both World Vision and donor partners. This leadership role supports World Vision’s Christian mission, vision, and strategy. The leader will personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word, and sign.
