COA Design Architect | Remote plus travel

The COA Design Architect will be responsible for the design and implementation of Chart of Accounts (COA) structures that support our organizational goals and ERP system requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in financial reporting and business processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement robust Chart of Accounts (COA) structures that align with organizational objectives and financial reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Lead the integration of COA design with ERP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system compatibility.
- Conduct analysis and evaluation of existing COA structures to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including COA maps, process flows, and system configurations.
- Provide training and support to end-users on COA-related processes and system functionalities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards in COA design and implementation.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.Proven experience as a Design Architect, Financial Systems Analyst, or a similar role, with a focus on COA development and ERP integration.Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and experience with financial module configurations.Expertise in financial reporting standards and practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or ERP Certification) are advantageous.
