Director of Data Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering and Business Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the internal data ecosystem, including data pipelines and analytics infrastructure

Design and implement ETL / ELT workflows and maintain data architecture for analytics readiness

Oversee Power BI reporting and visualization, ensuring scalable and reusable reporting templates

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, transitioning into a Solution Architect or BI Director role

Expert proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and Advanced SQL

Expert proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and M

Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and complex modeling

Conceptual understanding of Python and API workflows for automation oversight
