We're looking for a talented Tax Underwriter to join our award-winning Transaction Liability team. In this role, you'll underwrite a broad range of transaction liability products, with a strong focus on tax liability insurance across North America.

This role is fast-paced, relationship-driven, and offers a fantastic opportunity to become a trusted partner to brokers, lawyers, bankers, and clients.

About the Role

Underwriting

• Quoting, project-managing and underwriting tax liability insurance policies.
• Structuring and negotiating bespoke policies with brokers and lawyers in the US and internationally.
• Building strong relationships to win new business from key market stakeholders.
• Assessing and pricing risksincluding tax law applicability, technical positions, and likelihood of successful defense if challenged.
• Ensuring full compliance with underwriting guidelines, binding authorities and internal control standards.

About You

You'll bring a background as a qualified lawyer, accountant, or M&A professional with demonstrable experience in Tax and we'll help you deepen your technical and commercial expertise to support the continued growth of CFC's market-leading tax liability portfolio.
