Credentialing Coordinator Healthcare
We are hiring a Credentialing Coordinator to manage credentialing, compliance, and onboarding for clinical healthcare professionals. This role ensures all documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready so clinicians are cleared for assignment.
This is a compliance-focused operations role, not recruiting or sales.
Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and track licenses, certifications, and onboarding documents
- Verify license status and monitor expirations
- Manage onboarding from acceptance through clearance
- Communicate documentation requirements and deadlines to candidates
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready credentialing files
- Update internal systems and track onboarding status
- Flag compliance issues or delays proactively
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in healthcare credentialing, onboarding, or compliance
- Experience supporting clinical staff (RNs, allied health, technicians)
- Knowledge of license verification and background screening processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Healthcare staffing experience
- Familiarity with ATS or HR systems
