Production Operator

Job details Spherion Staffing is hiring a Night Shift Production Operator for a manufacturing facility in Wichita Falls, TX! Candidates must have proven work history in manufacturing, production, and/or machine operating positions to be considered. Work schedule is block rotation 4 days on 1 week and 3 days on the next, night shift is 7pm-7am for $18.50/hr. ...
Responsibilities:
The production operator is assigned to a work area and is responsible for the efficient operation of the production equipment and required to perform the following duties:
-Maintain operation of multiple lines, including loading gaskets and packaging end product for shipment.
-Visually inspect product for quality assurance purposes.
-Measure and record pipe dimensions as required.
-Take the proper action according to SPC Charting Control dimensions to maintain pipe specifications with direct supervision.
-Move bundled pipe from work area (scrap and good product).
-Assist in production line start-up activities and changeovers.
-Follow all operational and safety procedures.
-Cut and band scrap as directed.
-Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area per established housekeeping standards.
-Understand Belling Operations.
-Report any equipment malfunctions, product defects or unsafe conditions immediately.
-Read and Understand SOPs contained in Operator Manual Relieve and assist other operators as needed.
-Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Working hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Proven work experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operating position
Mechanically inclined and can read measurement tools
Must be able to comply with wearing steel toe boots for 12 hour shifts
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
Must be able to work in non-climate controlled environment
Must submit to background check and drug screen.
