- Remote Clearance Required : Public Trust (Minimum Background Investigation – MBI) Employment Type : Full-Time Overview Lucayan Technology Solutions is seeking Software Developers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions within the IRS Microsoft 365 (M365) environment.
- Multiple positions are available.
- These roles will focus on Power Platform development, .NET applications, automation, and SharePoint integration.
- The ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in Microsoft cloud technologies, automation scripting, and supporting federal or large enterprise environments with high compliance requirements.
- Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate .
- Write, maintain, and enhance .NET code (C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework).
- Develop PowerShell scripts for automation, system administration, and workflow efficiency.
- Customize SharePoint lists and develop model-driven PowerApps solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across M365 services and applications.
- Collaborate with IRS SMEs and project teams to ensure solutions meet IRS-specific compliance, security, and operational requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of software development experience , with focus on Microsoft 365 and Power Platform in large enterprise or federal environments.
- Experience supporting federal government clients or high-compliance environments; IRS experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in .NET development , including C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting , JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with SharePoint Administration and Power Platform integration.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a remote, compliance-focused federal environment.
- Security Clearance & Training Requirements Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust (MBI) clearance.
- Must complete all IRS-required security, privacy, and compliance training.
- Must adhere to federal cybersecurity and organizational protocols.
- Preferred Qualifications Experience with automation, workflow optimization, and process improvement in M365 environments.
