The Firm

Malaby & Bradley, LLC is a defense litigation boutique law firm (Remote / Hybrid).

The Position

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in New York
  • 2-7 years of litigation experience
  • Experience with general liability insurance preferred
  • Experience with other insurance defense including, asbestos, toxic torts, construction, construction defect, NY labor law, and premise liability, a plus
  • Strong communication, writing, and research skills

Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple cases simultaneously from inception through trial as part of a coordinated defense litigation team
  • Attend / conduct depositions for multiple types of defendants regarding different types of products
  • Primary drafting of client reports, motions, pretrial disclosures, settlement releases and other legal filings
  • Argument of motions and attendance at conferences before NY Judges, and arguments and conferences before the Special Master.

    Salary : $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
