Working with a crew of 3-4 workers on various aspects of environmental restoration and maintenance including but not limited to : ???Application of restricted-use herbicides on various species of Category I and II invasive plant species???Operation of handheld gas-powered equipment used for vegetation removal (chainsaws, trimmers, etc.)???Planting / installation of native plants and trees in different environments???Track progress by keeping detailed notes, understanding and marking maps, and keeping track of crew hours, chemical usage, equipment usage, etc.???Drive and maintain vehicles and equipment???Train crew workers with a strong emphasis on safety and ensuring efficiency

Qualifications and SkillsEducation requirement : Completion of high school with a diploma (minimum)Driver???s license and clean driving recordAbility to handle the physical demands of our work : difficult (hot) weather conditions, lifting (up to 75 pounds), and extensive walking and traversing through dense vegetation.
