Seeking a Crew Leader to join our team and continue to provide full service environmental permitting and habitat restoration services for our clients throughout South Florida. Responsibilities :

Working with a crew of 3-4 workers on various aspects of environmental restoration and maintenance including but not limited to :

• Application of restricted-use herbicides on various species of Category I and II invasive plant species
• Operation of handheld gas-powered equipment used for vegetation removal (chainsaws, trimmers, etc.)
• Planting / installation of native plants and trees in different environments
• Track progress by keeping detailed notes, understanding and marking maps, and keeping track of crew hours, chemical usage, equipment usage, etc.
• Drive and maintain vehicles and equipment
• Train crew workers with a strong emphasis on safety and ensuring efficiency

Working hours : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Qualifications and SkillsEducation requirement : Completion of high school with a diploma (minimum)Driver???s license and clean driving recordAbility to handle the physical demands of our work : difficult (hot) weather conditions, lifting (up to 75 pounds), and extensive walking and traversing through dense vegetation. Familiarity with and willingness to learn the common native and non-native invasive plants of FloridaAbility to navigate to, and around, site locations using hand-held GPS equipment and paper mapsStrong leadership Use creativity to solve or overcome problemsIs a clear communicatorIs a high energy and enthusiastic motivator and workerMUST be Bilingual - Spanish
