AI Engineer

We have direct client (banking domain) located in Pittsburgh, PA that is currently looking to fill an open full-time (PERM) AI Engineer position. This role will require 3 days / week onsite support .

The budgeted salary in place for this role falls between $150,000 175,000 (15% bonus goal plan along full health benefits also included). US Citizens, GC, and H1B visa candidates are acceptable and relocation support will be provided .

WTI will split the successful placement of this full-time opening 50 / 50 with the partner that provides the candidate which is ultimately hired. Our client provides a 12% placement fee which we'll split evenly with your firm.

(example : $170,000 salary x 12% placement fee will generate $20,400 which WTI will evenly split with your organization).

Position : AI Engineer

Location : Pittsburgh, PA

Summary : The AI Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, certifying, and maintaining production-grade generative AI and agentic business and technology solutions.

Required :

• 10 years of overall experience in software engineering, data science, or related technical roles, with strong proficiency in coding, business and system design, and production deployment.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience building and deploying generative AI solutions in enterprise environments
• Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Industry certification preferred
