Salary Range : $52,725.89 - $73,236.48

POSITION SUMMARY

The Systems Administrator implements, configures, maintains, and supports internal and external Microsoft networks. Resolves network performance issues and provides support as necessary to users. The administrator facilitates requirements gathering sessions, conducts research and analysis, and produces recommendations to support decision-making processes. This role requires a forward-thinking professional with exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to harnessing technology to enhance educational outcomes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education : Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or technical certification preferred, or technical certification preferred. Relevant Certifications : Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Cisco and Microsoft Active Directory certifications preferred Work Experience : Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Information Technology support, Microsoft server solutions, disaster recovery, email and data center support.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft server environments.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead teams and coordinate implementation efforts.
• Experience with backup systems and their ongoing maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite, including Microsoft Project and Visio, as well as experience with virtual networking and disaster recovery systems.
• Experience working with Storage Area Networks (SANs).
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining virtual machines.
• Strong understanding of Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
• Experience with software installation and deployment.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse groups and personnel at all organizational levels.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Strength : Ability to lift, push, pull and / or carry objects which weigh fifteen (15) or more pounds on a frequent basis. Environmental Requirements : Ability to work cooperatively with others; work independently; work indoors; work outdoors as necessary for the position.
