Position Summary

The Mechanical Service Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 5–6 sales professionals, supporting MEP estimating and project management efforts, and cultivating new customer relationships and business opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of mechanical systems and service sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5–6 service sales representatives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.
  • Assist with mechanical estimating and project management for service and retrofit projects.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical service sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical estimating, and project management.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
