Job Description Summary

The University of South Alabama's Environmental Services department is seeking to hire an Environmental Services Aide II. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.

Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions

• Maintains soft tile, carpet, terrazzo, marble and ceramic flooring by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors.
• Performs general cleaning duties to include: waxing and polishing furniture, dusting furniture, disposing of waste paper, washing windows and replacing supplies.
• Performs special cleaning projects utilizing all cleaning techniques and equipment such as floor machines, wet/dry vacuums, and carpet shampoo machines.
• Maintains, upkeeps ands repairs all equipment used for cleaning.
• Transports furniture and furnishings to different locations as needed.
• Abides by and enforces all compliance requirements and policies, while maintaining confidentiality.
• May be required to operate a motor vehicle to travel to and from work sites or transport materials.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
• Related duties as required.
