Registered Nurse Charge Auditor

A company is looking for a Revenue Integrity Charge Auditor (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Conduct defensive charge audits and special audit projects, ensuring accuracy of itemized bills and medical records

Collaborate with teams to optimize the integrity of the Chargemaster and prepare reports on audit findings

Research and communicate federal, state, and payor documentation and billing rules while staying current with regulations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline / field required

Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience required

Licensure or certification in relevant health information management or coding fields required

Knowledge of ICD-10-CM & CPT coding conventions and Medicare billing practices

Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
