ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Newnan, Georgia.

1 year of nursing experience required

Unit accepts first-time travelers

Patient ratio of 6 : 1 for days, nights, and weekends

Every other weekend schedule required

No call responsibilities

Float within facility / scope of practice as needed

Care for adult and geriatric patients with general medical surgical conditions and peritoneal dialysis

Daily census of 36 patients

24 hours of orientation required

One pre-approved time off request allowed

Must work major holidays if they fall during assignment period

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Epic charting system experience preferred

Community hospital experience preferred

Skills include continuous bladder irrigation, isolation precautions, telemetry, peripheral line care, pre / post hemodialysis management, and use of rapid response teams

Georgia or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

Two supervisory references highly preferred

Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
