American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist experienced in at least two modalities such as Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro, with required current BLS and ACLS.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a short-term acute care setting with a dedicated Cath Lab departmentAssignment includes day shifts (4x10 hours) from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMPatient population includes both cardiac and interventional radiology casesFloating to sister facilities within 20 miles may be requiredUse of Epic EMRCall and weekend requirements are determined by unit needs and will be discussed with managementDuties involve scrubbing and assisting in cath lab, interventional, vascular, and neuro proceduresTeam-oriented environment with multi-modality collaborationAll required educational modules must be prioritized and completed before startRequires wearing ceil blue scrubsPermanent or per diem candidates must wait one year before returning for another assignment at this facilityAssignments are limited to 18 consecutive months with a mandatory 6-month break, unless an extension is mutually agreed uponAnnual and pre-start modules are required and must be completed via Silkroad prior to start\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 18 months experience in Cath Lab or related specialty; 2 years preferredCurrent AHA BLS and ACLS certifications requiredCertified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) or RCIS preferredExperience in at least two of the following : Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or NeuroPermanent Ohio license in hand required if applicable; compact licenses acceptedNicotine-free status required; negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen neededTwo supervisory references from the past 12 months required for considerationECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment must be passed during orientation\n Benefits\n
