Machine Operator

Job Title : Sheet Metal Fabricator

Job Description :

Responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components according to engineering specifications. Work with various metal materials and tools to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities :

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools

Assemble and join metal parts (welding, riveting, fastening)

Inspect products for quality and compliance

Operate CNC machinery and assist with setup as needed

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Perform routine maintenance and document production activities

Qualifications :

1–3 years’ experience in sheet metal fabrication / manufacturing

Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents

Proficient with hand tools, measuring instruments, and metalworking machines

Basic MIG / TIG welding skills are a plus

Shipping & receiving experience is a plus

Strong attention to detail and physical stamina (lift up to 50 lbs)

Team player with a positive attitude

Work Environment :

Manufacturing floor with exposure to noise, dust, and sharp materials

Fast-paced with machinery use; overtime / weekend work may be required
