Quality Assurance Associate II

Duties : Remote? No Full time or part time? Full Shift Monday – Friday (some Saturdays) 7 : 30 am – 4 : 00p Hours 40-48 hours a week. To ensure the quality and compliance of final packaged product, back-up raw material release specialist with release of non-animal origin ingredient raw materials and the inspection of the labels Major Responsibilities : List the five to ten major continuing responsibilities Packaging Department Support and Packaged Product Inspection

• Perform packaging component issuance verification
• Conduct product inspection to ensure :
• Verification of expiration date and serial number applied to label
• Verification of correct version of label components applied to product.
• Verification that any product defects do not exceed AQL limits.
• Perform line clearances of packaging equipment Ensures routine packaging activities aligns with regulatory compliance for USDA, FDA and other authorities, as applicable Must have a good understanding of QA related to vaccine packaging process; Examples include : specification review. Ensures compliance with site Quality Policy and applicable local regulations for the packaging of vaccines. Skills : Computer skills preferred

• Ability to work in a team environment or independently, interacting with all levels of management.
• This position may require first, second or third shift shift and weekend work. Regular attendance is a must. Education : High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree
• 2 or more years experience related to product inspection
