Estate Planning & Business Attorney Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote Billable Requirement: 1,600–1,800 hours annually Position Overview A downtown Chicago boutique practice is seeking an Illinois-licensed attorney with 2–5 years of experience in estate planning and business matters. This role supports high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and entrepreneurs across estate, tax, corporate, and real estate matters. Key Practice Areas Estate and wealth transfer planning Gift and estate tax strategy Family business succession planning Trust and estate administration Corporate and business advisory matters Real estate transactions Core Responsibilities Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents Structure gift and estate tax planning strategies Manage trust and estate administration matters Form business entities and maintain corporate governance Handle real estate closings Prepare federal and Illinois estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns Collaborate with clients and outside professionals Qualifications Illinois Bar admission required 2–5 years of relevant legal experience Background in estate planning and tax matters Experience in corporate transactions or residential real estate preferred, not required Interest in developing a broad, long-term practice in estate, corporate, real estate, and tax law
