Optometry opening in Lakeland, FL 35m from Tampa; 50m from OrlandoSeeking a motivated, qualified Optometrist to join its well-established Ophthalmology Department in Lakeland, FL. Eye services feature four board-certified Ophthalmologists, three fellowship-trained Optometrists, including specialists in cataract, refractive, cornea, and oculoplastic surgery, certified ophthalmic techs, and an on-site full-service retail optical shop. Work independently with state-of-the-art equipment and technical staff for support. Primary duties include eye examinations, refractions, evaluation of ocular health, and contact lens prescriptions.Qualified candidates will have completed an optometric program accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education leading to an OD degree and hold, or be eligible to obtain, an unrestricted license to practice in Florida. Post Graduate Residency or experience preferred.
