As we continue to grow, Hamlyn Williams’s East Coast Division in Downtown Manhattan is looking for sales focused Senior Business Development Specialists responsible for bringing in new clients as well as expanding current clients with additional business growth.
The Role:
We are looking for high performing and highly motivated sales and recruitment professionals to lead and help scale our recruitment team. You will be an integral part of our journey acting as a team lead to junior business development representative and recruiters on the team.
HW operates in a recruitment model, but this opportunity would be to focus on Business Development where you will be involved in account management, business development, client outreach, and market expansion.
A snapshot of the role:
- Targeting new clients using business development and sales techniques taught in our in-depth training program - tailored for experienced hires.
- Act as a consultant for the client, coaching them through the interview process and market insights.
- Support the market footprint by selling in new product offerings such as market intel, new talent partnerships, retained searches, etc.
What you bring to the table:
- Ideally experience in Financial Services, Life Sciences, or Technology recruitment (or similar vertical industry) – but we are open to all markets!
- Successful progression working a /full-desk model (both sales/account management & recruiting) or purely Business Development role
- Proven track record in developing your own business and billings within a niche (candidate and/or client short) vertical discipline
- Experience managing multiple client relationships & accounts
- Ability to qualify job requirements and effectively relay information to co-workers
- Team Lead experience or desire to manage a team
