We are seeking an Import Export Analyst to play a key role in managing duty drawback processes and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

Responsibilities :

• Review shipping records, customs entries, and commercial invoices to determine duty drawback eligibility and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Compile supporting documentation, calculate potential refunds, and submit claims to customs authorities accurately and timely.
• Stay current on U.S. Customs and international trade regulations to ensure claims meet all legal standards and reduce compliance risks.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, and compliance teams to streamline claim processes and resolve discrepancies or documentation gaps.
• Organize and update records of all drawback-related activities and generate reports to track performance and recovery metrics.

Work Environment :

This role is based onsite in Carlsbad, where you will collaborate closely with logistics, finance, and compliance teams. The environment is professional and engaging, with daily interactions with leadership. The company is a private entity, boasting a 1,400 sq. ft. building, and employs 798 people worldwide, with several hundred at the headquarters. The position includes occasional lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds with assistance.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Permanent position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $68000.00 - $86000.00 / yr. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
