EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. We are looking for a dynamic individual who excels in a progressive setting and demonstrates a commitment to delivering exceptional client services. This position offers flexibility in terms of office location, as EisnerAmper follows a hybrid working model and has offices available in the locations listed below.

What Work You Will be Responsible For :

Prepare and review complex tax returns for closely held corporations, S-corporations and partnerships, as well as related high-net-worth individuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws

Build impactful relationships with entrepreneurial business owners, family offices, and firm leadership by providing high-quality client service and proactive insights

Develop a working knowledge of clients' businesses and industries, take ownership of assigned engagements, and consistently meet deadlines

Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards that impact closely held businesses and proactively apply new knowledge to client situations

Support closely held business clients with a variety of non-tax compliance requests by conducting research and leveraging internal resources to provide clear answers and practical solutions

Strengthen your role as a well-rounded business advisor by analyzing client financials, asking thoughtful questions, and assisting with accounting clean-up and adjustments. Demonstrate growing proficiency in accounting (debits / credits) is essential to be able to assist our clients in these areas

Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services

Mentor and coach junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their technical growth

Participate in professional development activities to deepen technical expertise and expand knowledge of entity and private client taxation

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required

2+ years of tax compliance and / or consulting experience, with exposure to closely held corporations, business entities such as S-corporations, or partnerships

Preferred / Desired Qualifications :

Master's Degree in Taxation or relevant field

CPA, or parts passed towards completion, or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification

Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software
