A company is looking for a Financial Counselor to provide financial guidance and support to patients in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with patients to gather essential financial, social, and medical information

Verify insurance benefits and assess patients' financial capabilities

Provide payment alternatives and assist patients with out-of-network determinations

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required

At least three (3) years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting

Basic math and computer skills required

Able to maintain patient confidentiality and awareness of HIPAA guidelines
