About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Cath Lab Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 10 hours (07 : 00 - 17 : 30) Experience : Minimum of 18 months in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab with strong experience in intervention and performing STEMI. License : Must be in hand prior to start date. Certifications : ACLS, BLS. Must-Have : Strong experience with intervention and performing STEMI. Description : The role involves working in a Cath Lab setting. Daily responsibilities include performing various cardiac procedures such as Left Heart Catheterization, Right Heart Catheterization, Impella insertion, Stenting, and others. Candidates should have experience with emergency cases, particularly STEMI. Knowledge of advanced cardiac procedures like TAVR and electrophysiology is preferred. The position requires participation in a call rotation after hours with a requirement of 10 shifts per month, which includes weekend call. The candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Experience with charting systems, particularly Cerner, is preferred. Candidates should have the ability to circulate and scrub during procedures. Interdisciplinary support will be available in the unit. The patient population will include adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 6-10. Travelers will be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates as necessary. Two supervisor references will be required prior to commencement. Local candidates are accepted, with specific rules regarding eligibility. Candidates must meet all required certifications as listed. Background checks will be conducted prior to employment.
