Job Summary:We are hiring Call Center Representatives to work in the
University of Michigan Health Center. This role primarily involves managing a phone line where patients and nurses place meal orders and handling various other non-call-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment. Experience or education in the nutrition and dietetics field is highly desirable, particularly for those classified as Dietetic Assistants or Dietetic Technicians.
Shifts:- Varying shifts starting as early as 5:30 am and ending as late as 11:00 pm at University Hospital.
- Shifts can range from 4 to 8 hours, depending on the position.
- We are looking for candidates with availability for 3-5 shifts per week.
- This is a temp-to-perm position with the potential for permanent hire after an initial period.
Training:The training process may take
1-2 months to ensure full competency.
Required Qualifications:- Customer service experience in a call center setting is preferred.
- Education or experience in nutrition and dietetics is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Immunizations:- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): Proof of at least one MMR vaccine or documentation of immunity.
- Varicella (Chickenpox): Verification of vaccination or evidence of immunity.
- Hepatitis B: Documentation of the complete vaccination series or proof of immunity.
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis): Proof of vaccination within the last 10 years.
- TB (Tuberculosis): Proof of a negative TB skin test within the last two months.
